The Frymaster 8071597 Fryer Fuse Slow-Blow 3A gives security against the short circuit of the electrical circuits of the appliance due to overloads or short conditions. It operates by allowing normal current to pass through it and breaking short impulses, and then closing the circuit in case the sustained current exceeds the 3-amp rating. The slow-blow fuse is then inserted in the fuse holder or control panel on the fryer and it is in series with the circuit to be protected.
