The Hobart 820299 Griddle Safety Valve is created to regulate gas flow, and provide overpressure protection in commercial equipment. Its primary purpose is to ensure that the gas supply is safely delivered to the burner system while automatically shutting off fuel in the event of conditions. The valve features a 3/8" NPT and a 1/4" CCT pilot outlet, allowing proper integration with griddle assemblies. Installed within the gas manifold, it works with ignition and burner controls to maintain stable flame operation. This safety valve protects personnel and equipment in a continuous cooking operation.
