The Vulcan Hart 00-820299 Valve 3/8" is a gas control part fitted in the commercial ovens and cooking systems to control the flow of natural or propane gas to the pilot burner. It makes sure that the gas supply becomes active only in case of the presence of a pilot flame, preventing the hazardous accumulation of gas to support a proper ignition. It also has a 3/8-inch connection and mounts directly into the gas supply line of the appliance.
