The Blodgett BL90059 Ignitor 115V is used as a standard part of an electrical ignition layout, where it initiates the burner during equipment startup. With a length of 2-3/4" it comes with 15" leads and 3/16" female push-on connectors, it simply produces the heat needed to ignite the gas burner at startup. Placed in the assembly of the oven, it works with the ignition and control system to make sure the flames come on safely and consistently. It is the kind of ignitor that is commonly used in restaurants, bakeries, and other commercial foodservice operations where stable ignition is needed to keep cooking operations consistent.
