The Frymaster FM8140034 Side Deflector with Old Ceramic Target Assemblies with a 2-hole mount will direct the heat and airflow in the cooker by directing the thermal energy to the target assembly as the fryer is used. It operates by bending the direction of heat in a manner that it reacts with the ceramic target in a controlled manner. This deflector side is in the fryer cabinet and is fitted with the two holes to fit into existing attachment holes. Its design can be used with older ceramic target setups, which can fit into the fry chamber and fit with the heating elements.
