The Frymaster FM816-0117 O-Ring Inner Pan closes joints by compressing its matching surface. This is fitted in the groove of the assembly. It is shaped in such a way that it can remain in place when the pan is being installed or uninstalled. The flexible profile promotes even compression of the whole contact area. It changes to small surface variations when it is heated and cooled. When it is properly positioned, it assists in maintaining a steady positioning of the inner pan with the rest of the fryer parts.
