The Frymaster FM9001031 Gas Fryer Sight Glass Retainer is used to fix the sight glass in place by clamping it on the fryer body to allow the internal levels to be seen through the glass is fitted when the sight glass is installed to hold the glass in place during the process of the fryer. It fits around the sight glass opening of compatible 18" and 24" gas fryers and is mounted by points on the fryer housing. This retainer is to be used in case the original gets bent, cracked or no longer holds the sight glass in place during normal use
