The Star Mfg G5Z16532 Electric Griddle Knob Assembly is used to provide a mechanical connection to the manual system tuning by sliding onto a keyed valve shaft. The cylindrical grip is rotated to control the internal stem that controls the output levels of the attached heating or gas components. This panel is placed on the outside of the manifold cover of the unit, and it is the main point of contact with the user. The dial surface has certain incremental marks to indicate the intensity of heat, and the special composite material does not allow a lot of thermal conduction.
