The Groen GR097005 Steam Safety Relief Valve manages controlled discharge through a self-actuating mechanism that reacts to rising conditions. Instead of remaining fixed the internal sealing parts move only when the calibrated limit is reached and then return once the discharge sequence is complete. The 1/2" NPT thread defines the connection interface, and the chrome finish refers to the exterior surface. Steam release is allowed only for the interval required by the regulating mechanism before the passage becomes sealed again.
