The Groen GR10-512-S50 Steam Safety Relief Valve responds automatically to elevated conditions by momentarily creating an outlet through the regulating assembly. Movement of the internal sealing element is produced by changing operating conditions rather than manual adjustment, allowing discharge to proceed only when required. The 1/2" NPT specification marks the threaded connection, while chrome identifies the exterior finish. Mechanical repositioning of the sealing element regulates both the beginning and conclusion of the release sequence.
