The Montague MONR24 Gasket 3-3/4" X 1-13/16" forms a closed interface between mating surfaces by compressing the surfaces to regulate the passage of heat, moisture and gases. The material can follow the variations in surfaces as components are tightened to ensure that there is consistent contact and reduce leakage during normal cycling. The gasket is placed between adjacent panels or flanges in assemblies of compatible cooking equipment. It is sized to fit within certain dimensions, allowing it to fit correctly, and yet it is able to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.
