The Pitco PTP6071768 Drain Valve controls the release of liquids from the fryer by providing a manually operated pathway between the tank and the drain system. Rotating the handle changes the valve position allowing contents to remain contained or flow through the connected outlet during draining procedures. This assembly is mounted at the fryers discharge point where it joins the tank opening to downstream plumbing components. Featuring a 1-1/4-inch female pipe thread connection it forms part of the liquid-handling system used during equipment emptying cleaning and maintenance operations.
