The Lang 41100-08 Oven Sensor Probe W/39" Wire & Plug 1/8" X 18" is used to measure temperature of the internal cavity by sending electrical resistance variations to the appliance control board. This thermal information enables the system to control heating parts and keep the ambient conditions constant during the operation. The component is simply fitted into the interior of the oven, usually to the back or side wall, enters the airflow, and is connected to the external wiring harness. This sensor makes ensure that the unit cycles properly according to direct heat detection.
