The Lang LG2E-41100-08 Oven Sensor Probe is used to monitor the temperature inside the cavity by changing thermal energy into an electrical signal, which the control board interprets. This component involves a 39" lead wire and a unique plug used to relay information on the 18" bulb to the management system of the oven. The probe is set up inside the cooking chamber, and it is usually mounted to a wall, either to the side or the back of the cooking chamber so the probe is exposed to the flow of air.
