The Star Mfg 2V-80501-03 Solenoid Valve regulates the flow of natural or LP gas through the valve by opening and closing the valve automatically through the application of an electromagnetic coil. The solenoid improves the internal plunger to allow the gas to pass through when it is energized, and closes the passage when it is de-energized. It is designed to be installed in-line with gas piping systems, and is mounted with 1/2" FPT threads.
