The Star Mfg 2V-80502-03 Gas Solenoid Valve manages the flow of natural gas, or propane by opening and closing in response to a 24V electrical signal from the equipment's control system. Its internal solenoid mechanism controls the valve allowing gas to pass when activated and stopping flow when power is removed. Featuring 1/2-inch female pipe thread connections it fits into gas supply lines and supports controlled fuel delivery during equipment operation. This part is installed within the gas control assembly of compatible commercial cooking equipment, where it manages gas flow to burners as part of the heating system.
