The Cleveland 22244 Steamer Drain Solenoid Valve is used to control the flow of water and condensate through the system in compatible commercial cooking equipment. It operates through an electrically activated mechanism that opens, or closes the valve during steaming and drainage cycles to manage liquid movement within the unit. Rated for temperature up to 250°F and pressure applications up to 15 PSI the valve includes a 1/2" FPT connection for integration with the drain assembly. This component is commonly installed within the drain and water management section of commercial steamers used in restaurants, cafeterias, and commercial kitchen condition.
