The Southbend SOU1177545 Hot Surface Ignitor 24V is a spark-producing part is an electrical signal is applied, produces controlled ignition of the gas in the burner assembly of a commercial cooking appliance. The spark tip arcs many times to begin the combustion until the flame is formed and the control system passes through the ignition phase. It is attached to the burner section so the spark is produced at the right place to ignite fuel. This part is connected to the ignition module of the appliance and fastened by the hardware that is provided.
