The Frymaster 8101001 Piezo Ignition Spark Lighter with Palnut produces a high-voltage spark when its actuator is touched, which lights gas in the burner to allow start-up. This is connected to a 23″ wire which in turn has the spark tip, and the palnut provided holds the igniter and wire in place. It is mounted on gas equipment that is compatible, and the spark tip connects with the gas flow to create ignition when the actuator is turned on. This system uses external sources of ignition and is accurate and hands-free in starting the appliance when it is operating normally.
