The Star Mfg ST-106 Broiler Cast Iron Top Grate supports food above a cooking surface while allowing heat to pass through the grate pattern. Its 20-1/2" X 5-7/8" dimensions, along with 6 crossbars and 7 ribs, form the surface for positioning food during operation. This grate is installed across the upper section of the broilers, over the heating area. It is suited to kitchens, restaurants and stations preparing meats, vegetables, and grilled items. The arrangement allows cooking juices to fall below while food remains elevated during service
