The Star Mfg 2U-302984 Hood Section Blower/Motor Assembly operates on the concept of an electric motor of 208V that rotates a blower wheel that pulls air through the filters and exhaust paths of the hood. The rotating blower generates air which then sweeps away smoke, grease particles and vapour off cooking surfaces and into the filtration system. This is mounted in a ventless hood, above the cooking equipment, behind the front grille or filters so as to be properly aligned. Both the housing and motor combination are in line with the electrical and dimensional needs of the model.
