The Uniworld UWDUVS9140 Shredder Disc 1/4" is used in commercial processors to shred food into a uniform 1/4" size. It operates by clamping it to the processor drive spindle so that as the machine is running the food that is forced through the feed chute would be in contact with the shredding edges of the disc and would be cut to size. It is a common disc in restaurant kitchens, catering, and institutional foodservice that requires the need to shred vegetables, cheeses, and many other products regularly.
