The Star Mfg WS-65180 Hi-Limit Snap Disc Thermostat features temperature-responsive switching for a connected heating circuit. Increasing heat causes the snap-disc element to deform at its calibrated limit, producing a swift change in the internal contact arrangement. The resulting electrical interruption removes continuity from the associated load until the sensing condition returns toward the reset range. The M4200/OC-1 denotes the specified equipment configuration. The electrical terminals provide the connection between the sensing control and surrounding wiring, allowing the thermal threshold to directly influence the circuit state.
