The Star Mfg Y1860 Fryer Hi-Limit Thermostat Safety Manual Reset Type LC117 works by sensing elevated heat levels within the appliance and opening the electrical circuit when temperatures exceed the designated cutoff point. Following activation, the operation remains suspended until the reset mechanism is manually connected, allowing the control pathway to be re-established after proper conditions are restored. Installed within compatible fryer equipment, it is positioned in the temperature-monitoring and protection circuit where it interfaces with sensing elements, wiring connections, and associated control assemblies.
