The Star Mfg Y2747 Fryer Hi-Limit Thermostat Safety Manual Reset Type LC117 operates by continuously monitoring fryer temperatures and disconnecting the electrical circuit when heat levels rise beyond the designated safety setting. Once triggered, the parts remains in a locked state until the reset control is manually activated, restoring circuit operation after temperature conditions return to an acceptable range. Installed within compatible fryer systems, it is positioned in the thermal protection circuit where it interfaces with sensing parts, electrical wiring, and control assemblies.
