The Star Mfg 2T-Y2747 Fryer Hi-Limit Thermostat Safety Manual Reset Type LC117 operates by detecting excessive heat within and breaking the electrical circuit when temperatures rise beyond the preset limit. After activation the control system remains interrupted until the manual reset button is pressed, allowing operation to resume only after conditions are addressed. Installed within compatible fryer assemblies, it is placed in the temperature-sensing and control section, where it connects with wiring control parts and heat-monitoring hardware to form part of the fryer's thermal protection system.
