The Hobart 00-346746-1 Thermostat KNP regulates temperature by responding to changes detected through its sensing bulb. As the sensed temperature reaches the selected setting, the internal switching mechanism changes the electrical circuit to start or stop the connected heating system. It is fitted with the sensing bulb positioned at the designated temperature-monitoring point, while the capillary extends between the bulb and control section. The stainless steel bulb measures 5/32" by 8-1/4", and the capillary measures 36" in length. The control keeps the temperature at the set value throughout the operating cycle, based on the sensed temperature.
