The American Range 10461 Burner Gasket 2-11/16" X 1-3/4" forms a seal between the burner and the cooktop surface and regulates the gas flow and reduces any leaks. It is snug on the burner base, so that there is always contact with the other components. The gasket is easily installed and is placed just below the burner with the cooktop surface being perfectly aligned with the gasket. It fits various standard burners. The section aligns properly with the compatible cooking system, and there is no disruption of the spacing and connection of items that are intended.
