The Hobart 19269 Burner Gasket 2-11/16" X 1-3/4" is used as a barrier between the burner and the surface it is mounted on to reduce undesirable gaps. It is tight on the burner opening which forms a uniform interface that allows proper alignment. This gasket is placed directly under the burner assembly and it is flat against the cooktop, so that it does not move around. It is installed and can accommodate standard burner sizes. The material retains its shape even within normal cooking conditions.
