The Vulcan Hart 00-714910 Range Burner Gasket Fiber is used to seal the mating surfaces tightly and restrict the escaping gases and to stabilize the burner assembly. It controls heat transfer and vibration when operating and assists in maintaining burner centering and regulated flow of combustion. The range burner and mounting surface in commercial cooking equipment are separated by the gasket. It is made of fiber material and is therefore resistant to high temperatures and repeated heating cycles that are typical of kitchens. This element aids in the proper operation of the burner, by ensuring separation, minimizing leakage and ensuring homogeneity.
