The Toastmaster - See Middleby Marshall 1421B8703 Thermostat S-Type controls temperature by sensing heat through its 3/8-inch x 5-1/8-inch bulb and opening or closing the electrical circuit to maintain the selected operating range. Designed for temperatures from 200°F to 400°F, it uses a 24-inch capillary to transmit temperature changes from the sensing bulb to the thermostat mechanism for responsive control. The thermostat is installed in compatible commercial cooking equipment, where the bulb is positioned within the heated area and the control mounts to the equipment panel as part of the temperature regulation system.
