The APW 1487000 Thermostat S-Type responds to temperature changes through its 3/8-inch x 5-1/8-inch sensing bulb, opening and closing the electrical circuit to regulate heat within the selected operating range. Covering temperatures from 200°F to 400°F, it uses a 24-inch capillary to relay thermal changes from the bulb to the thermostat mechanism for continuous control. The thermostat is installed in compatible commercial cooking equipment, where the sensing bulb extends into the heated chamber and the control mounts within the temperature control assembly. Its design allows integration with the surrounding heating and electrical components.
