The Nu-Vu 1427B8701 Thermostat S-Type regulates temperature by sensing heat through its 3/8-inch x 5-1/8-inch nickel bulb and adjusting the electrical circuit to maintain the selected setting. Operating across a 200°F to 400°F range, it uses a 24-inch capillary to transmit temperature changes from the sensing bulb to the control mechanism for continuous temperature regulation. The thermostat is installed in compatible D1 and D18 commercial ovens, where the bulb is positioned inside the heated chamber and the control mounts within the temperature control assembly. Its configuration allows coordinated operation with the surrounding heating components.
