The Southbend 4440708 Burner Valve and Knob Replacement Kit is used to regulate the amount of gas flowing to the burner, enabling adjustment of the flame intensity to be used in cooking. The knob provides manual control of gas regulation and the valve allows the gas supply to open and close smoothly. The kit is designed to fit on the existing gas lines and control panel of the commercial range and cooktops. Its parts are 1/8" MPT and 3/8"-27 knob threaded and used in restaurant kitchens and food service settings.
