The Wells 60892 Warmer Thermostat works by sensing changes with a 3/16" x 11-5/8" sensing bulb and then activating the heating element within a range from 100F to 450F. Its 42-inch capillary tube performs the purpose of connecting the sensing bulb to the control so that the thermostat can sense temperature variation and switch on the heater to maintain the set heat.
