The Hobart 719329 Burner Air Shutter 2-1/2" DIA Double Plate Cast Iron regulates airflow by rotating the double plate opening so that the flame of the burner can stabilize depending on the need. This air shutter is attached to the burner assembly at the point of air intake directly between the gas inlet and burner tube. Proper installation makes it possible to adjust the air properly, which ensures balanced combustion, and stable heat production when compatible commercial cooking equipment is used normally.
