The Montague 2037-0 Burner Air Shutter 2-3/4" OD Cast Iron Double Plate regulates the volume of air-passing through the burner to combine with gas to facilitate proper combustion. It works by controlling the air intake opening, which enables the gas to air ratio to be regulated to provide the running of stable flames. The burner assembly comprises the installation of the air shutter at the inlet of the burner. It assists in maintaining the level of heat production and the correct functioning of the cooking part during operation.
