The Lang 80501-05 Gas Regulator is a replacement part of equipment that is used to control pressure of liquefied petroleum gas in commercial cooking equipment. The regulator manages the inlet pressure to maintain a stable flow of gas in the normal operation of the appliances. It is mounted in-line on the gas supply connection and is connected to the manifold to ensure the burner efficiency is constant. In practice, the component is used in installation or service change to rectify pressure anomalies and reduce the damage due to uncontrolled gas supply in the whole system.
