The Vulcan Hart VH408279-3 Pressure Regulator 3/4" LP regulates the flow of liquid propane to commercial cooking equipment by lowering the supply pressure to an operationally steady pressure. It is attached to the appliance gas inlet where the source is connected to the internal distribution system. It is installed as a component of the fuel delivery system to ensure that the flow of the gas is constant to keep the flames steady and the burner heat constant. The regulator is in constant operation to maintain changes in the pressure of supply which aids in maintaining consistent burner operation.
