The Groen 84208 Jacketed Kettle Compound Gauge W/1/4" MPT Bottom 2-1/2" DIA measures both the vacuum and the pressure by applying the force exerted by the system on the bottom connection, which in turn transfers the force to the internal mechanism, which moves a pointer along calibrated scales. These two scales have the vacuum and pressure readings on the same dial of 2-1/2 inch diameter so that they can be easily referred to. It is attached to a specific monitoring port of compatible steam, pressure or vacuum systems.
