The Southbend 9-3175-1 Gas Broiler Relay directs electrical connections between control circuits through mechanically shifted contacts. A 120V coil receives the specified electrical input, creating the magnetic field required to reposition the internal contact set. Two poles operate separately within the double-pole double-throw arrangement, with each section selecting between two terminal paths. This configuration allows separate wiring circuits to switch through one energized relay.
