The Everpure 961231 Ice Machine Water Filter Cartridge 4000 filters the water that enters the machine before it enters the ice-making circuit, eliminating suspended particles and selected substances. The internal filtering path is designed to pass water through the media but prevent unwanted material from passing through the water supply stream. The cartridge is located in the water line in front of the ice machine inlet and is connected to the water line via a suitable filter housing. The filtered water is then directed from the housing towards the ice-making section to be utilized in the ice-making process. It is located in the supply line, keeping the filtering stage ahead of the water's entry into the machine.
