The Everpure 961237 Ice Machine Water Filter Cartridge 4000 filters incoming water through the internal media, trapping suspended particles and a selected number of substances as water flows through the filter cartridge. The filtered stream exits the cartridge and flows on to the water inlet to the ice-making circuit. The cartridge is fitted in a separate filtration housing in the machine's water supply line, in front of the water inlet. When the water enters the ice machine, it goes through this filter before flowing into the water distribution area of the ice machine. The cartridge consequently sits on the supply side between the source connection and the machine inlet.
