The Everpure 961232 Ice Machine Water Filter 4000 filters fluid coming in to the cartridge while it is flowing through the media, capturing suspended particles and reducing selected substances before water is fed to the ice-making circuit. The filtration path is for the water to flow through the media, and the unwanted material is left in the cartridge. The cartridge is installed in a suitable filter enclosure on the water supply line, upstream of the water inlet to the ice machine. The filtered water is then piped through the connected pipe to the ice-making area, where ice is produced. The filter stage is located between the water source and the water inlet of the water filter machine.
