The Montague 2406-6 Gas Broiler Burner Valve 1/8" NPT is used to turn the gas flow to the burner open or closed by turning the handle. The handle controls the amount of gas used and enables ignition and the correct amount of flame in the broiling process. This valve is fitted in the gas line supplying the burner. Correct placement of the valve makes it work in sync with the burner system to keep the same performance during the cooking cycles.
