The Cleveland KE51720 Safety Valve is a protective part used to manage pressure within a steam-jacketed kettle system. It is designed to prevent steam pressure from surpassing the secure operating limit. It operates through a calibrated, loaded mechanism that opens automatically at 50 PSI. It closes after pressure decreases. It mounts on a 3/4-inch threaded fitting connected to the kettles pressure assembly. Under the following controlled pressure conditions, it supports equipment safety, reduces part stress, and provides to accurate kettle operation.
