Pitco PP10803 Pasta Cooker Hi-Limit Thermostat W/Manual Reset LCH 1/4" Bulb

The Pitco PP10803 Pasta Cooker Hi-Limit Thermostat works by sensing the temperature of the liquid through a 1/4-inch bulb and when it finds that the inside of the tank has gone into an overheating condition, it activates an electrical cutoff switch. It works on the concept that it converts the temperature increase to mechanical motion within the sensing element this then opens the control circuit, stopping the heating till such a time that the manual reset is used to make it work again. This is placed in the heating control system of any of the compatible pasta cookers, with its bulb in the cooking vat and the assembly of the thermostat on some exterior control panel area.
