The Rankin Delux RANRDHP-E-C-11 Air Shutter is a 2-1/8" air shutter system that has a screw and a washer that allows adjusting the quantity of gas and air to be directed to the burner by moving the shutter plate on the shaft to change the incoming airflow before combustion. The position of the shutter when fitted and aligned with the burner tube and the supply of the gas determines the amount of air that gets into the burner tube to ensure that the fuel-air mixture comes out through the ports and burns correctly.
