The Groen Z094161 Steamer High Limit Thermostat Assembly 265°F is activated once the internal temperatures reach a predetermined temperature above which it shuts off power to avoid overheating. It works by detecting the amount of heat present in the steamer and cutting off the circuit when the desired limit is exceeded. This thermostat unit is fitted in the heating system of the unit, where it is attached close to the heat source where temperature reading is needed. It is used in commercial steamers to ensure controlled operation by controlling the conditions of high temperatures and assisting in safe and consistent performance in the cooking cycles.
