The Groen Z003984 Steam Trap 1/2" MPT in line component used in standard vapor distribution systems, to automatically discharge condensate and non-condensable gases while retaining live liquids. It operates through internal mechanisms that respond to temperature and pressure changes, allowing accumulated water to exit the line without interrupting steam flow. It is commonly installed in appliances food preparation vessels, sterilizers and other commercial cooking equipment where controlled heating is required. Within the system it maintains proper heat transfer conditions by preventing condensate buildup and supporting consistent operation of downstream equipment.
